Frog Detective is finally coming to consoles. After years of the PC platform selfishly keeping it all for themselves, console players will get their first crack at the series later this year. Publisher Worm Club has officially announced it’ll be launching in 2023. But has not currently given out a firm date.

They did say later this year though. And it’s almost September so that only leaves a few months left. If you’re unfamiliar with Frog Detective, the series is a collection of short, funny casual mystery games. They run about $5 each on Steam and there’s three of them. So that amounts to about $15 if you buy them all separately. Although you can also buy them in a bundle that is currently on sale for $13.47.

We’d recommend waiting for the console version though. Not just because this would be perfect for the Nintendo Switch. But also because it comes with a new scooter mini game that the developers claim is all the rage. And honestly it sounds like something you could easily start playing and all of a sudden you notice hours have gone by in a blink.

Frog Detective: The Entire Mystery comes to all console platforms

No one is being left out here. As all major platforms will get a taste. Frog Detective will officially launch later this year for PS4 and PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. There’s even going to be a Game Pass version if you subscribe to that.

This bundle will include all three games in addition to the new scooter mini game. Which should be plenty of content to enjoy. Additionally, the game will now support multiple localized languages including French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese. You can view the official console announcement trailer below to get a feel for the kind of game it is. And if you really can’t wait you can grab the game on Steam.
