Zendaya surprised fans with a rare second look at last night’s Met Gala.

The Challengers star first arrived at the annual fashion event in New York, where the dress code was ‘Garden Of Time’, in a deep blue and green gown by Maison Margiela’s John Galliano.

Accompanied by a dramatic headpiece, ornate bird figurines, and bold makeup, Zendaya received praise from fans and critics for the look.

One user took to X to call the appearance: “A look that will go down in met gala history” while another wrote “This woman understands EVERY assignment when it comes to fashion”.

However, Zendaya’s time on the turquoise and cream carpet wasn’t finished there, as she revealed a rare second look later in the evening.

The Dune star reappeared wearing a never-before-worn vintage black taffeta Givenchy gown, accompanied by an elaborate Alexander McQueen headpiece resembling a bouquet of flowers.

Fans again took to social media to express their excitement at the surprise second look. One user wrote on X: “A SECOND ZENDAYA LOOK I REPEAT A SECOND ZENDAYA LOOK U GUYS #MetGala” while another wrote: “Zendaya didn’t conquer the Met Gala steps once, BUT TWICE tonight!!!”

Another surprised fan wrote: “Went to sleep like okay i saw Zendaya’s met look, great! Then woke up to a SECOND look omg. No one in her league”.

Some users weren’t a fan of her first look, but argued that her second appearance was better: “But I just came here to say I’m so glad Zendaya had a good second look, wasn’t feeling that first one AT ALL,” wrote one user.

In other news from this year’s Met Gala, Lana Del Rey revealed her favourite song from Taylor Swift’s new album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department’.
