Larsson recently released pop-EDM track “On My Love” with David Guetta

can’t be tamed — and now she’s heading to Venus. On Thursday, the Swedish pop star announced her fourth album, Venus, out on Feb. 9 via Sommer House and Epic Records.

While she has yet to reveal a tracklist or album artwork, a press release teaed the LP as a “pop album fot for a goddess” with Larsson “setting her own agenda, in part by looking back on where she’s come from.” She kicked off the Venus era in January when she released the single “Can’t Tame Her” and later released “End of Time” over the summer.

“VENUS, FEBRUARY 9TH, 2024,” she tweeted announcing the record. (She has yet to post about the new LP on Instagram.)

Most recently, the singer joined David Guetta for “On My Love,” a pop-EDM banger that suits Larsson’s vocals and is reminiscent of the Eurodance sounds of Rihanna’s “Only Girl (In the World).”

(Larsson’s only upcoming U.S. stop is in Tampa for Jingle Ball on Nov. 26, where she’ll perform alongside Niall Horan, Teddy Swims, and Doechii.)

Venus follows the release of 2021’s Poster Girl, which featured songs like “Right Here,” “Talk About Love” with Young Thug, and “Ruin My Life.” Last year, she joined Alesso for the single “Words” and performed a cover of ABBA’s “Lay All Your Love on Me” for Spotify.
