A total of 1,000,000 airline miles from the reward program will be given away to winners of Air Tahiti Nui’s “Share The Love” competition in increments of 25,000 miles each.
As for “sharing” the contest, each winner who receives the 25,000-mile award can give 25,000 miles to a person of their choice. Tahiti Nui Helicopters will also give a private helicopter flight to the original winner.
There are two rounds of the competition. Travelers can enter the giveaway for free on the airline’s website, or they will be automatically entered if they book a trip on Air Tahiti Nui by Sept. 30 this year, for travel between now and Sept. 30, 2024. Only one entry per person is allowed.
Participants who enter in August will be entered into the drawing on September 6; participants who enter in September will be entered into the drawing on October 4. Under the terms and conditions, a person who does not win the September drawing will automatically be entered into the October drawing.
The competition was initially announced earlier this year to commemorate the airline’s 25th anniversary.
Tahiti, French Polynesia, France, New Zealand, Australia, and Japan are among the destinations served by Air Tahiti Nui flights. The airline has operations in Los Angeles and Seattle, and it has agreements with American Airlines and Alaska Airlines to connect passengers to other locations inside the United States.
The airline predominantly operates the Boeing 787-9 aircraft, affectionately known as the “Tahitian Dreamliner.” Recently, Air Tahiti Nui earned recognition in Travel + Leisure’s “10 Favorite International Airlines of 2023” category, as part of their World’s Best Awards.
