Source Shares Why Jen Shah’s Husband Sharrieff Won't Appear on RHOSLC Season 4 Despite Offer Amid Jen's Prison Stint

Former Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah may be putting together a faux Housewives play while serving time behind bars, but that’s where the buck stops. Even for her husband Sharrieff Shah.

According to reports, RHOSLC producers have repeatedly asked Sharrieff to be a part of season four of the Bravo franchise, but they have ultimately failed to get him to sign on.

Sources with direct knowledge of the situation have told TMZ that Bravo wanted to have Sharrieff join the other RHOSLC husbands and give updates on how Jen is faring in prison and how the Shah family is coping without her.

The source alleges that Sharrieff’s decision to ultimately refuse the offer came at the behest of Jen. After talking through the situation, the former Housewife expressed her disinterest in the project due to the way she believes Bravo treated her after she was sentenced to 6.5 years for running a years-long telemarketing scheme. (The sentence has since been reduced by one year.)

Jen was infamously absent from the reunion show for season three of RHOSLC, her last, before heading to prison. She adamantly refused Bravo and Andy Cohen’s offer for an exclusive one-on-one interview after pleading guilty to her financial crimes.

At the time, she stated, “[Bravo’s] unwillingness to remove contractual provisions that allow the network to legally make misrepresentations of me and my story” as the reasoning for the sit-down’s fall apart.

Since beginning her prison stint back in February, Jen has been spending her time mentoring her fellow inmates and working in the prison camp’s library facility.

Unfortunately, coinciding with the family’s decision to decline Bravo’s offer, the former RHOSLC star has also been hit with a lawsuit by her former legal team after they dropped her and sued her for unpaid legal bills.

There are also restitution payments that Jen is liable for repaying that could fall back on Sharrieff as well.
