Taking to social media, the ska icons confirmed that the influential singer had handed away from a “temporary sickness,” honouring him as “a gorgeous pal, brother and probably the most sensible singers, songwriters and lyricists this nation has ever produced”.

“Terry was a beautiful husband and father and one of many kindest, funniest, and most real of souls,” the band mentioned, calling him “probably the most sensible singers, songwriters and lyricists this nation has ever produced.
