Adele called out a heckler at her Las Vegas residency who said that “Pride sucks”. Check out fan footage of the incident below.

Last night (June 1), Adele continued her Weekends with Adele residency in Las Vegas, and the concert coincided with the start of Pride Month. While she was speaking to the crowd, she was interrupted by an audience member who shouted the homophobic remark.

“Did you come to my fucking show and just say that Pride sucks? Are you fucking stupid?” she asked. “Don’t be so fucking ridiculous. If you have nothing nice to say, shut up, alright?”

The residency originally began in November 2022, having been postponed at the last minute in January of that year due to an illness.

In January of this year, Adele said she would embark on a world tour on her next album cycle. In the middle of a Vegas show, she revealed that fans will probably have a while to wait before she releases the follow-up to 2021’s ’30’, but she will tour it more than she has done with albums in the past. “I just don’t think I’m gonna write an album for quite some time,” she told her audience. “But next time I do, I’ll come to wherever it is you live.”

Adele also recently confirmed that she would be holding a residency in Munich and has so far announced a total of ten shows at the purpose built Munich Messe arena.

Meanwhile, Sabrina Carpenter recently reacted to Adele praising her song ‘Espresso’ during a residency show last month.

“As I got into bed last night — cause that’s a very late night for me, normally I’m in bed by 9pm— I found myself singing, ‘I’m working late, ’cause I’m a singer’, that Sabrina Carpenter song! ‘I can’t relate to desperation.’ That song is my jam!” she said.

Carpenter has now reacted to the ‘Easy On Me’ singer’s praise of the song and reshared a post about Adele’s comments on X and wrote, “All i read was Adele thinks about me in bed <3.”

The ‘Nonsense’ singer also shared a clip of Adele speaking about ‘Espresso’ on her Instagram stories and said: “Um guys can someone check on me.”
