Vanderpump Rules Season 11 Filming Begins as Sandoval Cancels Show and Jax Reschedules Event With James, Plus Ariana's New Man Boards Flight Ahead of Her Birthday

Tom Sandoval has postponed one of his shows with The Most Extras as filming begins on the upcoming 11th season of Vanderpump Rules.

As Jax Taylor, who is rumored to be returning, attempts to reschedule his event with James Kennedy at SUR, which he no-showed earlier this month, and Sandoval is forced to reschedule his tour, Ariana Madix‘s new man, Daniel Wai, has boarded a flight from New York ahead of her 38th birthday on Saturday.

“It’s Ariana’s [birthday] this weekend, so assuming her [birthday] party will be the first filmed event,” Rate My Bravo suspected on Instagram on June 22.

Then, after Daniel shared a photo of himself with a suitcase and tote bag and asked his followers where they believed he was “off to,” the same fan page asked, “Wait- guys do you think Ariana’s new [boyfriend] is going out to film?!?! This is from this morning.”

“Full work day already done time to [fly],” Daniel had written in the caption of his June 22 Instagram Story.

One day prior, on his shared podcast with wife Brittany Cartwright, Jax said that after pulling out of his event with James at SUR last week due to a “family emergency,” he’s hoping to reschedule for sometime in July — which just so happens to be in the midst of filming on Pump Rules.

“For those of you that tried to go to SUR this past week, I apologize that I wasn’t there,” he began on When Reality Hits With Jax and Brittany, via Rate My Bravo on Instagram. “Obviously, I was looking so much forward to it. I had a party bus coming here. We had a pre-party set up here. We had a little bit of a family emergency, well, kind of a big family emergency but everything is okay now. Everything is fine. But I just want to apologize for not showing up.”

“It looked super fun. But we are planning one for July,” he continued. “I’m actually talking to James and [Guillermo Zapata] now. Guillermo, [one of the owners] of SUR. We’re kind of figuring it out right now. We’re seeing what’s good for James and I’s schedule but it’s looking like right now sometime in the middle of July. We were thinking Fourth of July but I think our schedules are just a little too crazy for the Fourth of July so probably sometime the week after and I just want to say I promise you I will be there.”

As for Sandoval’s postponed show, ticket-holders reportedly received emails this week that his show with The Most Extras at the Goldfield Trading Post in Sacramento on Friday night would be moved to September.

“POSTPONED: Tom Sandoval and the Most Extras 9/30 … Due to a conflict in series taping TOM SANDOVAL & THE MOST EXTRAS are rescheduling this show to September 30 when series taping will be complete,” the email read, as seen in a screenshot shared by Rate My Bravo on June 22.

The fan page went on to share a couple of videos from Brock Davies and Scheana Shay, who seemingly confirmed the start of production in their own ways.

“Alright for the fam, the extended fam and friends, it is the day,” Brock announced as he confirmed his and Scheana’s daughter, Summer Moon, 2, would be spending the night with Scheana’s mom.

“Hey Summer, where are we going? You going to Nana’s house, and then you’re gonna sleepover?” he proceeded to ask the child. “She’s officially saying goodbye, see you tomorrow, and love you, Mommy and Daddy.”

Meanwhile, on Scheana’s Instagram Story, she teased her glam for the evening.

“Fresh brows, fresh lips, fresh glam, thank you Alexis!” she declared.
