Tom Sandoval was rumored to have split from Raquel Leviss and be dating Texas-based influencer Karlee Hale earlier this month. But according to a recently leaked photo of the Vanderpump Rules star on a plane, those two claims may both be untrue.
While Sandoval insisted not too long ago that Raquel was being treated for mental health concerns at an unnamed facility, where she was not allowed to have her phone, he was seen in the midst of a phone conversation with her over the weekend.
In a message sent to Bravo and Cocktails with the subject, “Tom flying to Pittsburgh,” a person said Sandoval was seen chatting with Raquel on a flight to Pittsburgh, which is just south of where he and his band, Tom Sandoval & the Most Extras, are expected to perform on Memorial Day.
“Friend is flying from Nashville to Pittsburgh on Southwest. Got this photo [of] Tom on the Southwest flight on the phone with Rachel!!! Zoom in on the photo!” the tipster wrote, via Instagram.
And once the photo was zoomed in on, it was clear that the name of the caller was none other than “Raquel Leviss.”
“Sandoval on the phone with Raquel on his way to Pittsburgh,” read a caption of a pic shared by Queens of Bravo on Instagram, who also wrote, “Guess they’re still together?”
Bravo and Cocktails also shared an image to confirm the man in the photo was, in fact, Sandoval.
“To the people saying the pic isn’t Sandoval here he is in the same outfit,” they captioned a screenshot from TikTok of Sandoval in the same outfit during a visit to LAX.
Just last month, weeks after Raquel’s rep stated that she had checked into a long-term program to focus on her mental health, Sandoval spoke to TMZ, defending his former mistress against claims of being at a spa.
“I’m gonna just tell you, Raquel is in a mental facility, no visitors, okay?” he stated. “She’s there, whether she decides to tell you where that is after the fact, that’s where Raquel is, no visitors, no friends, no family, okay? No phone, no nothing.”
Sandoval also added that Raquel was “doing great” and getting the help she needs.
As for Raquel’s current status, it is unclear if she is still receiving treatment or has been released.
