GeForce NOW is back with a suite of new games you can play in the cloud, including the recently released Sea of Stars. If you’ve not heard of this game before, you’ll definitely want to check it out. Fans of old-school turn-based RPGs like Chrono Trigger and older Final Fantasy titles will love the gameplay and story. As it harkens back to those days where pixel graphics and turn-based combat were behemoths in the RPG genre.

Sea of Stars is officially available on Steam for $34.99 but it’s currently on sale for 10% off if you pick it up before September 4. However, it’s also an Xbox Game Pass title. And you might remember that some Xbox Game Pass games are available on GeForce NOW. Well, this is one of those games beginning this week. So if you have a subscription to Game Pass in addition to a GeForce NOW subscription, you don’t have to buy Sea of Stars. You can simply load it up and play by linking your Xbox account with your GeForce NOW account.

Sea of Stars is one of 13 games dropping in GeForce NOW this week

GeForce NOW Trine 5 A Clockwork Conspiracy

Sea of Stars is no doubt an excellent game to have the ability to play in the cloud. But it’s far from the only worthy game landing on the service this week. In fact it’s one of 13 new games dropping in.

For starters, there’s two more new releases being added. This includes Untamed Tactics which released on August 28. There’s also Trine 5: A clockwork Conspiracy, a game which released on August 31. Both are available on Steam. The remaining games coming to the service this week include the Xbox versions of Deep Rock Galactic, HITMAN – World of Assassination, NARAKA: BLADEPOINT, and Shadowrun Returns. Additionally, you can now stream the Epic Games Store versions of King’s Bounty: The Legend, Little Big Workshop, Railway Empire 2, Snake Pass, and STORY OF SEASONS: Friends of Mineral Town.

Lastly, Portal: Prelude with RTX on Steam is available as well. This week’s 13 games are part of 24 games being added to GeForce NOW for September. There will be more games coming though too. As NVIDIA notes that the 24 titles it mentions are just the games that are being added “so far.” Which means it hasn’t decided yet on which other titles will be coming.
