This fall season will be the most costly in history, according to Squaremouth analytics. So, which destinations are still affordable?
According to a study carried out by the firm, fall holidays will set international travelers back $8,100 on average, an increase of 38% from 2023.
Travel cost concerns have influenced travelers’ behavior by prompting many to insure their trips more than ever, and carefully select a list of destinations that have managed to keep rising prices at bay.
Based on insurance data from trips scheduled between Sep. 1 and Dec. 20, 2024, Squaremouth has identified the 10 top destinations for those looking to save a good percentage on travel expenses. Unsurprisingly, seven of them are located in the Caribbean.
Destination | Average Trip Cost |

Dominican Republic | $3,315 |

Philippines | $3,362 |
Bermuda | $3,859 |
