Summer is on the horizon and Banana Boat collected votes from over 750 of the world’s most recognized and experienced travel influencers, journalists and experts, as well as their Beach Ambassadors to compile The 50 Best Beaches In The World, 2023.
The annual list includes bucket list locations across the world from Australia to the Seychelles and Philippines. Which in order took the top three spots, Lucky Bay in Australia, Anse Source D’Argent of the Seychelles and Hidden Beach in the Philippines
Included in the list are three United States beaches, location and rank below:
On the island of Kauai, Honopu Beach and Lanikai Beach have both featured on the annual best list, but California’s McWay Beach in Monterey County is a debutant. McWay Beach is not accessible to the public, but the judges included it in the list due to the sheer number of nominations.

The 750 experts ranked the beaches on the list based upon: sheer untouched nature, remoteness, how swimmable it is, annual days of sunshine and average annual temperature.
Honopu Beach: tucked away along the Na Pali Coast, this beach is only accessible by swimming from a boat or a neighboring beach. A summary of its scores is below:

McWay Beach: entirely inaccessible to the public, this beach features a breathtaking 80-foot cascading waterfall. A summary of its scores is below:
