The first official trailer for Captain America: Brave New World has arrived, teasing plenty of action, multiple new enemies, and the Red Hulk – you can watch it above.

The fourth film in the series, Brave New World sees Anthony Mackie return as Sam Wilson (aka The Falcon), who has since taken on the mantle of Captain America after Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) peacefully retired at the end of Avengers: Endgame.

Following on from the events of The Falcon And The Winter Solider, the new film sees Sam tasked with forming a new Avengers team by newly-elected US president Thaddeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross (Harrison Ford, who replaces the late William Hurt).

The cast includes Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres, Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns (aka the Leader), Shira Haas as Sabra, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, and Giancarlo Esposito as a mysterious villain. Xosha Roquemore, Seth Rollins, and Rosa Salazar also star.

In the action-packed two-minute teaser, Thaddeus informs Sam that he wants to officially relaunch the Captain America program for the military. The president is then attacked by an overly strong assailant before learning that his inner circle has been compromised.

For many, though, the highlight of the trailer will be the sneak peek at Red Hulk, which sees him catch the iconic Captain America shield and jam it into the ground.

Brave New World is directed by Julius Onah (The Cloverfield Paradox) and is written by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson (The Falcon And The Winter Solider), as well as Matthew Orton (Moon Night).
