n the chilly winter, the desire for diverse forms of individualistic expression crawls in — whether a well-made pan of steamed chicken or a neck-snapping ensemble. A belly full may make the heart merry, but a body well adorned makes the eyes pleased. Last week, the celebrities leaned toward all — from sizzling holiday food to a festive approach to fashion that entailed sequin coats, shimmering frocks, and embellished denim sets. These festive celebrity looks portray the correctness found in an assortment of personal tastes.
The Looks
Beyoncé finally heeded Brazil’s Beyhive’s incessant invitations and arrived in the country in a Patbo full denim look. Her ensemble featured a bejeweled denim bralette paired with high-waisted embroidered cropped jeans and a denim jacket. She completed the look with silver pumps, sunglasses, and her Targaryen-esque wavy frock for that Renaissance charm.
Elsewhere, Keke Palmer reminded us that she is a whole mood. The hot mom released stunning Christmas JPEGs of her and her son, Leo, and they were giving. For the shoot, she donned a red, embellished, form-fitting Yousef Al Jasmi number that reiterated her sexiness. For a festive burst of merriment, the actress leveraged bleached brows and stud earrings to the max.
For the Color Purple press rounds, Oprah Winfrey has been on a literal color slay, dazzling in purple outfits and executing without missing. Through this slay mission, the purple hue has stayed constant but the textures have varied delightfully. From a recycled Lurex brocade three-piece suit to an Oscar De la Renta sequin embroidered coat, we’ve seen Ms. Winfrey do justice to the tone in unexpected ways.
