S
tanding on business was the attitude true fashionistas adopted last week. The style stars went all out with atypical silhouettes, interesting hue combos, and eclectic details which were best described as a diverting find. The sight was served through events like New York Fashion Week and the 2024 NFL Honors that provided fashionistas opportunities to showcase their creative know-how. All these big shows preceded the global Superbowl stage that saw the upbeat week hit a high-octane crescendo. Indeed, what happened in Vegas didn’t remain in Vegas.
The Looks
At the 2024 NFL Honors, multi-hyphenate artist Janelle Monáe wore an SS24 Tony Ward avant-garde mini dress that stole the show. The dress was a fine blend of black and silver sequins in a circular pattern woven together in genius. The 38-year-old star wore her signature pixie cut, red lipstick, and matching silver stud earrings that lent their shimmer. The look was a full chef-d’oeuvre.
At the 2024 Superbowl, Beyoncé almost stole Usher’s moment, but his stellar performance spoke for itself. Notwithstanding, Bey made an edgy entrance in an all-black Dolce & Gabbana look that gave off country vibes. She rocked a sexy mini dress and solid leather thigh-high boots and finished off with a country necklace that offered a cowgirl moment. This is how you make an entrance at the games.
Zendaya took up the role of fashion killer for the Dune: Part Two promotional press tour in Mexico. She was interestingly clad in a blend of sci-fi and fashion, taking style risks and nailing them. She wore a multi-colored Bottega Veneta set featuring a crop top, that bared her toned midriff with audacity, and a high-slit skirt with exaggerated details that were both unusual and fashionable.
