The top TV choices in November include a couple of fan favorites that are finally coming back after long hiatuses, a pair of new shows with top-shelf pedigree behind them, and a solid sci-fi drama with a dedicated fanbase returning for its second season. Read on for the Most Anticipated TV and Streaming Shows of November.

No. 1

Premiere Date: November 17, 2024 on HBO

10,000 years before Timothée Chalamet’s Paul Atreides became the Lisan al Gaib, there were two Harkonnen sisters who helped establish the sisterhood known as the Bene Gesserit. Dune: Prophecy serves as a prequel to Denis Villeneuve’s two acclaimed Dune films, and it’s based on the book Sisterhood of Dune by Brian Herbert and Kevin J Anderson. The show is the perfect fix for Dune fans awaiting the third installment of the film series, which isn’t due out for at least a couple more years.

No. 2

Premiere Date: November 9, 2024 on Netflix

Netflix’s animated series Arcane was so good that it made fans out of people who had never even heard of its video game source material, League of Legends. Now, after three long years, fans will finally get season 2 this November. With four primetime Emmys to its name, season 1 shot up in Netflix’s ranking when it was first released, so it’s hardly surprising that it makes the list for the most anticipated shows of November. Season 2 will, hopefully, live up to the high standard set by its predecessor.

No. 3

Premiere Date: November 10, 2024 on Paramount Network

Season 5, Part 2 of the hit western series that took the internet by storm will return to the Paramount Network this month. While Kevin Costner’s departure from the series has been a point of concern for some fans, the rest of the stars will reprise their roles, and fans will be excited to see the Dutton family deal with new challenges, while rumors about another season are currently swirling.

No. 4

Premiere Date: November 29, 2024 on Paramount+ with Showtime

The top three series in this month’s poll ran away with the lion’s share of the votes, but No. 4 and No. 5 were neck and neck until the very end. Ultimately, this new espionage thriller on Paramount+ with Showtime came out on top, and you only need to look at the distinguished cast to know why it’s buzzing: Michael Fassbender, Jeffrey Wright, Jodie Turner-Smith, Richard Gere, Katherine Waterston, Hugh Bonneville, and John Magaro. Does that guarantee that it’ll be good? No, not necessarily, but we’re not surprised plenty of people are willing to watch and find out.

No. 5

Premiere Date: November 15, 2024 on Apple TV+

And finally, barely losing to The Agency to nab the fifth slot in this month’s list is the second season of the Apple TV+ sci-fi drama Silo. Here we have another show with lots of big names — it stars Rebecca Ferguson, Rashida Jones, David Oyelowo, Tim Robbins, and Common, among others — and an intriguing premise, but we at least know that the first season was a Certified Fresh hit. It may not be one of Apple TV+’s most popular shows, but it’s got a dedicated fanbase, who showed up to make sure it made it into our top five.
