Taylor Swift may be one of the biggest pop stars in the world, but she doesn’t act like one, according to Ed Kelce, the father of her boyfriend Travis Kelce.

The elder Kelce, who made history as the first parent to have two sons play against each other in the Super Bowl, opened up about his impression of Swift in a recent interview with People Magazine.

Recounting how Swift had begun clearing up discarded bottles, cans and plates in the suite at their first meeting, he said, “And I’m just thinking, I don’t think she got the diva memo”.

“She didn’t get the spoiled musician. She doesn’t know how to pull that off. And that really to me said a whole lot,” he added. “She’s very smart. I mean, very. That comes through right away,” he concluded.

In other Taylor Swift news, she recently topped the Billboard Hot 100 with ‘Cruel Summer’, four years after it was released on her 2019 album ‘Lover’.

The feat has put her in an elite club of artists with 10 or more Number Ones on the Hot 100. Swift is tied with Elvis Presley for the fourth-most chart-toppers among all acts, behind only The Beatles (20), Mariah Carey (19) and Rihanna (14).

Meanwhile, Swift will release ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ on October 27, following on from other re-recordings including ‘Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)’. The latter was released earlier this year to an enthusiastic reception, becoming the singer’s 10th UK Number One album and outselling the rest of the Top 10 combined.
