Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark‘s two-year-old daughter, Hartford Charlie Rose Clark, was hospitalized on Monday morning.
Following a night in which the child was experiencing breathing issues, the Vanderpump Rules alums rushed the child to the emergency room, where doctors have been working to clear out Hartford’s lungs as they also attempt to diagnose what is causing her breathing struggles.
“It’s been a morning,” Beau wrote in the caption of a July 3 photo on his Instagram Story, which featured a glimpse of Hartford in her hospital bed, seemingly with mom Stassi beside her.
Then, in a second post, Beau explained what had happened in the moments leading up to the hospitalization.
“So last night she was breathing very fast and hard. Looked like when people start to turn, in those zombie movies,” he recalled. “Took her to ER around 6am. She has some breathing issues possibly high asthma and lots of mucus in her lungs and a high fever … She’s on her second ‘breathing face thing machine,’ with something that will open her lungs up more. Now we’re just waiting, hoping this works the second time.”
In closing, Beau vowed to update his fans and followers once he and Stassi find out more about their daughter’s situation and admitted that it was “super scary” seeing Hartford in such a compromising situation.
“Will update when we know more … It’s super scary seeing your kid like this,” he said.
While Hartford was confirmed to have a hole in her heart prior to her birth, Stassi confirmed in April of last year that she now has a “perfect healthy freakin heart.”
As Pump Rules fans well know, Stassi and Beau welcomed Hartford in January 2021, months after tying the knot in a backyard wedding ceremony at Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz‘s former home. Now, after marrying in a second wedding in Rome, Italy, the couple is expecting their second child, a baby boy.
