Stassi Schroeder could give birth at any moment. But unfortunately, her son’s nursery is far from ready for his arrival.
In a series of posts shared to their Instagram Stories on Monday night, the Vanderpump Rules alum, 35, and her husband, Beau Clark, 43, gave their fans and followers a look inside their baby boy’s room, which was damaged several days ago by Tropical Storm Hilary.
“I was having anxiety about getting the blinds [and] curtains done in time. My hormones have me legit sobbing right now. Our nursery,” Stassi wrote in the caption of a video shared last week in which water was seen dripping from the ceilings and windows of her son’s bedroom.
And on Beau’s page, he was equally devastated by the damage to their $1.7 million Hollywood Hills home.
“Today is just a motherf*cker. Are you kidding me?” Beau vented as he filmed a video of the room.
“New baby’s nursery. What are the odds that we can fix this before the baby arrives?” he asked in a caption of an additional clip. “I don’t think I’ve ever met someone who raved about their contractor. But if anyone has some recommendations, DM me their info so I can check them out on Google.”
Now, as they attempt to fix the damage the nursery sustained, Stassi and Beau have offered some updates on the construction.
“You just gotta laugh at this point,” Stassi wrote in the caption of a video she reshared from Beau’s page on August 28 that showcased a stripped-down ceiling and ripped-out walls.
During Tropical Storm Hilary, Stassi and Beau’s son’s nursery sustained tons of water damage. And in one of the videos they shared initially, the paint was seen bubbling.
In addition to having to rip down the ceiling and tear open their walls, Stassi and Beau, who wed in September 2020 and share one older child, two-year-old Hartford, have been met with damage — and a huge mess — on their floors.
In a new video shared by Beau, he asked, “Construction or a scene from Dexter?”
And as she reshared the clip to her own Instagram Story, Stassi sarcastically replied, “Cool cool cool.”
Vanderpump Rules season 11 is currently in production and expected to begin airing later this year or early next year.
