Stassi Schroeder claims she’s in the news due to Tom Sandoval‘s controversial affair with Raquel Leviss.

Months after “Scandoval” erupted, the Vanderpump Rules alum appeared on a podcast where she reacted to the exposure and looked back at Sandoval’s “frustrating” portrayal on the show while also dishing on her current relationship with Lisa Vanderpump, sharing her thoughts on Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney‘s sandwich shop, and more.

“I feel like it’s gonna open this summer. I feel like it’s not far off. It’s so beautiful. It’s like Parisian chic meets Montecito. I’m so happy for them,” Stassi, who recently visited the venue, said on the June 20 episode of The Toast.

Although Stassi has stayed in close touch with Katie since her 2020 departure from Pump Rules, that doesn’t mean she’s open to a return.

“When I think about like, what would that be like to film again? My life is so different where, yes, Vanderpump Rules used to be the center of my world. I organized my life around the show, and now, I couldn’t imagine going to the places and doing the things that would be required from being on a show like Vanderpump Rules,” she explained.

As for starring in another show, that’s something she’d consider.

“If there was something that I didn’t feel like I had to change my life to be involved in, then I would,” Stassi confirmed. “I really do miss it. I love it. But I don’t want to disrupt my life. It gives me anxiety when I think about [filming] again and if I were to change my life, that then affects your relationship, it affects your children, it affects family members.”

And because she knows that her relationships could be impacted, Stassi said that including them in a potential new series would “[depend] on the show.”

As she reflected on the amount of attention Pump Rules got amid its 10th season, Stassi admitted to feelings of resentment.

“Of course, there are moments where it’s like, ‘Oh wow,’ like seeing how big it’s gotten when we’re not there, I think that’s human nature,” she shared. “You get insecure about like, ‘Was I not good enough?’ It’s a weird, convoluted, kind of nuanced feeling because it’s like, I’m happy that I’m not in that, but at the same time, it makes you miss it a little bit.”

While Stassi has been absent from the drama for years, she’s remained friendly with her former boss, Lisa.

“Every time I see her, she has been so lovely and so nice. [We’re] great,” Stassi revealed.

One person Stassi didn’t keep in touch with after her exit was Sandoval. And, looking back at their time together on the show, she said she was never a fan.

“I always got so frustrated watching the show because I’m like, ‘God he seems like such a hero when I watch it.’ But like, no. I know,” she stated. “Do you know how good that feels — to be on the right side of history? I feel like so often I’m not. So that feels amazing.”

“I do keep saying, like, ‘What a wasted opportunity this was,’” she continued. “If there was one season I would’ve liked to have been in, it probably would’ve been this one so I could’ve just given like a big old ‘I told you so.’”

Although Stassi didn’t return amid season 10 to take part in “Scandoval” like Kristen Doute, she did receive extra attention due to the controversy.

“I’m in the news right now because of Scandoval. It’s so weird,” she shared. “It’s like all the outside players that technically have nothing to do with it. Like, I have nothing to do with it.”

Vanderpump Rules season 11 is believed to be in production and expected to air later this year or early next year.
