Sonja Morgan and Luann de Lesseps threw shade at their ex-Real Housewives of New York co-star Bethenny Frankel. Plus, Sonja shared that she hopes never to work with Kelly Dodd again, and Luann dissed Carole Radziwill.
Recently, Luann and Sonja joined together to film Welcome to Crappie Lake, a new reality comedy described as Schitt’s Creek meets The Simple Life.
When Sonja was asked which Housewife she hopes ‘to never to interact with again,’ she answered, “Kelly Dodd.”
“Jesus, I will not do an appearance with that woman. I can’t,” she said in an interview with ET, via Page Six.
Luann chose Carole and Bethenny.
“Same with Carole, you know, she trashed our show. Bethenny trashed our show … I don’t even want to give her air time,” said the former countess.
“We don’t bite the hand that feeds up,” Sonja added.
On the Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, the Crappie Lake co-stars addressed Bethenny further. Sonja joked she would have made Bethenny “walk the plank” if Bethenny had shown up to film with her former cast members for Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip on ‘Scary Island.’
“You know what happens to pirates? Sometimes they go down with the ship,” Luann chimed in.
Sonja indicated that the show was better without Bethenny. “We could always use the extra ratings but we didn’t have to have that,” she said. “This was a very in-sync group. It was a perfect group for me.”
