Shep Rose appeared on Thursday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, where he addressed the swirling drama around his ex-girlfriend, Taylor Ann Green, including her cheating claim against Paige DeSorbo and her relationship with his longtime friend Austen Kroll.

Shep, 43, was joined on WWHL by his Southern Charm co-star, Olivia Flowers, 31, who he considered a hookup with. While on the show, he also looked back on his and Taylor’s July 2022 split and offered an update on where he stands with Real Housewives of New York City star Brynn Whitfield, 36, following their flirtation last month.

On the October 5 episodes of WWHL, Andy Cohen, 55, questioned Shep about whether or not he satisfies his women to completion.

“Yes. I’m a big fan of… I like going [down] a lot,” he replied.

Shep was then met with a fan who wanted to know why he felt the need to ask permission to leave Taylor’s party and lie to her about ordering a beer.

“I don’t know. I just, I’ll always have a soft spot for Taylor. It’ll never change. I’m trying to be nice,” he insisted.

Although Craig Conover, 34, recently said Shep isn’t well-read, Shep found the idea comical, asking, “What is he then?”

As for Austen, 36, asking him to “define hooking up,” Shep compared him to Bill Clinton.

“‘I did not have sexual relations…’ Well, what does that mean?” he wondered as Olivia shaded Austen’s comment as “fitting.”

During a game involving left swipes and right swipes, Shep went left on Katie Maloney, 38, saying she’s “too close to home.” He then swiped right for Brynn.

“We haven’t [met] but I’ll go right. She seems outrageous first of all. I would love to meet her,” he gushed.

When asked if anything ever happened with Olivia, and whether he’d consider, Shep joked, “Maybe tonight,” as Olivia said, “No.”

“We’re at different hotels. I just don’t see it,” Shep agreed.

Another caller wanted to know why he asked Taylor to quit her job and travel with him if he wasn’t sure about their future.

“Her job required six weeks prior notice for one day off, and I was just like, ‘This isn’t gonna work for lots of reasons and I think you have a higher and better use,’” he explained. “And I helped her get this job she has now and she makes more money.”

Someone else asked if it was hypocritical for Shep to be upset about Taylor and Austen potentially hooking up after sleeping with Kathryn Dennis, 32, after learning Craig had a thing for her.

“They are so not congruent arguments but I will say this, if you remember correctly, Kathryn slept in the bed with Craig four nights and he didn’t try anything so I don’t know what to do after that,” he replied.

He was also asked how can he be upset about Taylor’s relationship with Austen when he cheated on Taylor.

“First of all, I’m not upset,” he clarified. “I’ve been very magnanimous and great and forgiving, but I don’t think anyone really understands, Taylor does that blanket, ‘He cheated on me,’ it’s way more nuanced than that.”

After hinting that there is more to his split from Taylor than viewers realize, Shep was asked if he would continue his friendship with Austen if he and Taylor became a couple.

“That’s a good question. That would be very difficult, I would say,” he noted.

As for Taylor’s cheating claim against Paige, Shep explained where it came from.

“I had never heard that. I’ll just tell you what I know: I think she claims that someone told her that at BravoCon last year, which I would take with a boulder of salt essentially, but I have no evidence to that at all,” he revealed.

Southern Charm season nine airs Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
