Shannon Beador suggested Heather Dubrow had no support from her Real Housewives of Orange County castmates amid season 17 during an interview days ago.
Weeks into the new season, Shannon, 59, looked back on the adversity Heather, 54, faced during filming and commented on her potential future on the show as Tamra Judge, 55, discussed the “boundaries” she hoped to establish between herself and Shannon after their two-year estrangement.
“I went into that lunch with good intentions,” Tamra told E! News of her meeting with Shannon on the premiere. “But I also had to be stern in my delivery to her because I wanted to set up boundaries for our friendship. Because what happened in the past was not working for me, so we had total disagreement on what went down and how things were in the past … I [ended] up just walking out.”
As RHOC fans may know, Shannon has blamed her and Tamra’s falling out on Tamra getting “fired” from RHOC in January 2020. But according to Tamra, that was not the case.
“She had said, ‘No, I don’t see Tamra because she lives 45 minutes away,’” Tamra explained. “Well, to me, that didn’t make a difference. And for her to say, ‘Well, Tamra was fired. That’s what happened.’ I’m like, ‘Well, that sums it up right there. She doesn’t have a need for me anymore.’”
Although the ladies went into season 17 at odds, they are on good terms today. That said, they engaged in a number of disputes before getting to a better place in their relationship.
“There’s another meeting that we have that doesn’t go very well,” Tamra teased. “But at the end of the day, we make up and we move forward … We’re on really good terms.”
During a separate interview, Shannon discussed tensions with Heather.
“I think at times [Heather] had people behind her but for the most part … she was on her own,” Shannon told Us Weekly on June 14. “By the way, I’ve been out on that island many times by myself and it isn’t fun. I will admit that it’s not a fun journey.”
In addition to her issues with Heather, Shannon said Heather has been at odds with Tamra as well.
“I think that Tamra and Heather definitely have issues with each other currently. I believe that I do as well. I don’t feel as though they were resolved this season,” she explained. “So definitely there are topics that I wanna discuss at the reunion. I’m already thinking about that.”
Continuing on, Shannon hinted that her issues with Heather are based on their differing views.
“I try to take accountability for things that I have done that may hurt someone or might not be the most positive,” Shannon shared. “I’m not saying that Heather did a bunch of things that were wrong … there was just not a meshing of personalities.”
As for Heather’s future, Shannon said she’s not concerned that her castmate may leave ahead of season 18.
“I would be surprised if she didn’t come back,” she admitted. “I think she’s here to stay.”
The Real Housewives of Orange County season 17 airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
