Shannon Beador was arrested for DUI on Saturday night after reportedly running into a home in Newport Beach, California, and now, just days later, alleged footage of the shocking incident has been shared.
As the Real Housewives of Orange County star, 59, remains silent, video and photos of the damage sustained to the home have hit the web. Plus, insiders are speaking out, sharing that the reality star and mother of three has been telling people she broke her arm and requesting they not speak publicly of the incident.
On September 18, Radar Online revealed that an intoxicated Shannon reportedly got behind the wheel on Saturday night in an effort to reclaim her cell phone, which she’d left at a restaurant, when the accident happened.
According to the report, Shannon hit the house on the way to the restaurant with her dog, Archie, in the car. And in addition to begging her friends not to discuss the matter, she’s informed them of her broken arm.
As RHOC fans have surely heard, one of Shannon’s friends, former Flipping Out cast member Jeff Lewis, 53, spoke out on Monday with an update after the arrest.
“Shannon and I have been friends for a very long time. I was shocked. She called me yesterday. We talked for a while and I was shocked because I’ve never known Shannon to ever, ever, ever drink and drive. That’s something that we both have discussed previously,” he revealed on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live. “So I’m shocked. I will tell you she’s accepting full accountability. She is ashamed [and] she’s embarrassed.”
Shannon’s attorney also shared a statement.
“I spent quite a bit of time with Shannon yesterday. She is extremely apologetic and remorseful. We will be awaiting the official information on this case as it becomes available, and Shannon is prepared to accept full responsibility for her actions.”
Meanwhile, on social media, new details continue to be shared.
In one post, which was reshared by the Queens of Bravo from Original Baby Gorgeous on Instagram, alleged photos of the crash scene were revealed.
In the pics, skid marks were seen in the street and a concrete curb was destroyed.
All About the Real Housewives offered a closer look at the damage, along with a conversation someone near the accident had on TikTok.
“Did you talk to her at all?” a person asked the woman.
“No, she drove off … We didn’t find out it was her until the next day when the neighbor told us [and] he heard her yelling [and] arguing at John’s house,” she replied.
She also told another person, “This unfortunately is real … I called 911 [and] was inside the house. The police have the security footage from the house across the street!”
In another report shared by TMZ on September 19, it was noted that Shannon had been “zooming around a residential street” in Newport Beach when she crashed into the home just before midnight.
In footage shared by the outlet, Shannon appeared to misjudge a corner before losing control of her vehicle and crashing.
Following the crash, Shannon reportedly put her car into reverse, drove off of the sidewalk, and slowly pulled back onto the street, where she later parked.
Although Shannon attempted to pretend that she had simply been walking her dog, police who arrived at the scene weren’t buying it and ultimately arrested her on two misdemeanor charges of hit-and-run and DUI alcohol.
She was cited and later released without bond.
