hen it comes to fashion, there are only two kinds of individuals in the world: those who find their style and then play it safe for the rest of their lives and those who are adventurous enough to always find new ways to experiment —and add an element of surprise to their look. While no law fights the former’s approach, there’s something about stepping out of your comfort zone that’s simply appealing. Last week, the best dressed celebs took the latter to heart and instantly caught our attention
The Looks
Rihanna has to be the world’s favorite pregnant woman. The star no doubt knows how to work a preggo glow-up. This time, the Fenty tycoon has made several appearances in covered-up ensembles, unlike her last pregnancy. Last week, the mother-of-one showed up at CinemaCon in a fully-covered Y/Project loose-fitting denim take. The star’s presence in New York no doubt created expectations for her Met Gala return. Meanwhile, the iconic Angela Bassett stepped out for the Time100 Gala in a Gaurav Gupta metallic suit and a boom box purse. The flattering piece married with the giddy purse threw in a hip-hop vibe to the refined look.
Indeed, Zendaya came out to play last week. The actress shook the town in serial Louis Vuitton outfits and a Versace dress for the road. One look that stood out for us was an LV backless offering. The Lous Vuitton ambassador rocked a chic waistcoat with touches of plaid texture at the waist. The free-size pants rocked with it were all the fit required to vamp things up.
