Summer may just be around the corner, but last week’s best-dressed male celebs aren’t embracing easy-breezy outfits just yet. On the streets these past few days, A-listers opted for looks that had structure to them — whether it was an artsy vest (like the one basketball player Jarred Vanderbilt wore to walk the Lakers tunnel), or a sequin Amiri set (a la Daveed Diggs who rocked it to “The Little Mermaid” premiere).
The Looks
There were some great all-black looks on our radar. At last weekend’s GQ x Tommy Hilfiger Miami race party, actor Damson Idris wore a $1,490 abstract-print silk overshirt by Saint Laurent. He complemented the shirt with a pair of black silk pants and finished it off with Prada loafers and sunglasses.
Some of the looks also so had a vibrant, color-coordinated structure to them. Over in Philly, for the Sixer’s fifth game this season, pro player PJ Tucker turned up in a burgundy ensemble. He wore a matching set of The Elder Statesman cardigan and pants and continued the color scheme with a New Era Phillies hat. For shoes, he opted for a pair of green Louis Vuitton LV trainer sneakers—a totally fresh, and slightly unexpected, color choice. Best Dressed Male Celebrities
Formula 1 racer Lewis Hamilton has tirelessly stepped out in fashionable looks during the Miami Grand Prix weekend. This time, he headed out in a Tommy Hilfiger loose-fitting top paired with grey pants. He finished off the look with sneakers to amplify the coziness of the ensemble and red-framed sunglasses. Hamilton sure knows how to nail a casual get-up.
