Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is fast approaching its release date of November 10, but leading up to that you can play the early access beta this coming weekend, and you have a chance to win a code from Android Headlines.

You can gain early access to the beta if you pre-order the game. But if you aren’t going to pre-order or you wanted to hold off, this is a good chance to test things before the open beta the following weekend. Why not just wait for the open beta? Well, you can totally do that. And there’s nothing wrong with doing that if you simply don’t have the time to devote to the beta in the next few days. Here’s the thing, if you do have the time, you’ll want to play early.

Not only will this give you an advance on knowing how the game plays, but how weapons feel. Which might just give you an edge later on. And there are likely rewards to be had. Just like with the Modern Warfare II beta back in 2022. During that beta period players were able to earn a handful of different rewards just by playing and completing certain challenges. Rewards included an emblem, a calling card, a weapon blueprint and more. And Activision could be doing that again this year. So, the more time you have to play, the better your chances of getting everything unlocked if there’s anything there to be earned.

When does the Modern Warfare III early access beta start?

The early access beta will begin this week, one day after the Call of Duty: Next event that takes place on October 5. So that means on October 6 you’ll be able to jump in and experience the multiplayer for the game. Since this is early access, only people with these codes and people who pre-ordered will be able to log in. All the more reason to try your hand at getting one of these codes. Not all platforms will have access at the same time though. So here’s how things will play out.

PlayStation players will get access first beginning October 6. The beta will last through October 7 for early access, then on October 8 it opens up for all PlayStation players. This is when those who want to play on PS4 or PS5 will be able to hop on without having pre-ordered the game.

The following week opens up access for Xbox and PC players. On October 12 and through October 13, anyone who pre-ordered the game will get early access to the beta, while PlayStation players will have continued access on these dates. Finally, the open beta for all platforms begins on October 14 and will end on October 16.
