Scheana Shay is planning to attend Thursday’s taping of the Vanderpump Rules reunion in person despite Raquel Leviss‘ restraining order against her.
On Friday’s episode of her podcast, before looking back on a suspicious moment involving Raquel, Scheana admitted that while she has “no say” over the decisions that will be made in regard to the taping and has not yet been told whether she’ll be featured in person or on Zoom, she’s “fully intending” on joining her castmates for what is sure to be a dramatic series of episodes.
“I mean, as far as I know, I’m fully intending on being there in person,” Scheana said on the March 17 episode of Scheananigans, via Page Six. “[But] that is not up to me whatsoever. I wanna make that very clear.”
While Scheana couldn’t get into the restraining order itself or the legal proceedings surrounding it, she noted that she and Raquel were on good terms just days before the order was filed.
“Up until we did Watch What Happens Live, her mom was texting me about how we should dress up like pumpkin pie and cotton candy and wear orange and pink and make fun of the things we were called on the show this season,” she recalled.
But after the taping of WWHL, Scheana and Raquel were allegedly involved in a “heated confrontation” as Scheana learned of her romance with Tom Sandoval for the first time. And during the reported altercation, Raquel claimed to have sustained a black eye, which Scheana denied.
Although Sandoval and Raquel have yet to disclose when their romance began, Scheana’s friend, Jamie Lynne, believes their affair started prior to Scheana’s August 2022 wedding to Brock Davies and recently noted how Raquel went missing for hours in Mexico.
“I completely forgot that this happened,” Scheana also said on her podcast, via Us Weekly. “I was busy getting ready to get married that day.”
According to Jamie, Raquel didn’t get ready with her and Scheana’s other bridesmaids on the day of the wedding, instead claiming she needed “pool time or me time.”
“But that’s probably not what she was doing for that entire time. … We all had schedules of where to be, and if [Tom and Raquel] were trying to figure out a time that they could have privacy, that would be the time because everybody was scheduled to be in your room,” Jamie stated.
On Jamie’s own podcast, Jamie All Over, she wondered why Raquel would choose their time to get ready as her “me time.”
“There were a lot of people who have messaged me about things that rubbed them the wrong way at the wedding,” Scheana admitted. “Things that they saw that no one thought anything of at the time. But now people are going back. They’re picking apart a lot of situations and scenarios that looked a little sus at the time, but we all just shook it off and it was like, ‘No, we’re all best friends. You know, love is love.’”
Now that she and the Pump Rules cast are well aware of what was happening between Raquel and Sandoval, watching the series play out has become an interesting experience.
“This was the story that was happening no matter what,” she explained. “It’s been really tough just hearing everything, seeing everything, going back and thinking about everything. And you will see a lot of this play out. It started a little bit in this week’s episode, but I mean, every episode for the rest of the season, people should be watching with a very different lens.”
Also on her podcast, Scheana said that after watching Katie struggle with her divorce amid season 10, she was planning to apologize to her at the reunion.
“Watching Katie go through that, it tugged on my heartstrings and made me just feel like a f-cking a–hole, because I do remember what that was like,” Scheana shared, giving a nod to her divorce from Mike Shay. “So, I definitely just wanted to get that out because that is something that, since I watched the episode and then I watched it again, it’s just not sitting right with me.”
Vanderpump Rules season 10 airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
