Savannah and Chase Chrisley claimed their parents, Julie and Todd, are staying in prisons with no air conditioning, as Julie is facing poisonous snakes.

The Chrisley Knows Best stars are serving a combined sentence of 19 years in prison for tax evasion and fraud, though the couple maintains their innocence.

On Savannah’s “Unlocked” podcast, via Page Six, Chase claimed that the Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Florida – where his dad currently resides – is a “nightmare,” and his sister described their mother’s stay at Lexington, Kentucky’s Federal Medical Center as “insane.”

“Now they both have no air conditioning … they’re both in states where it gets 100 plus degrees, and there’s no air conditioning,” said Chase.

He also alleged that Julie sees “poisonous” snakes within her cell, and Savannah called both the prisons “disgusting” and “inhumane.”

Savannah said their mother had “rattlesnakes just casually slithering on the floor in front of her … right there where her bed is.”

Chase stated, however, that it wasn’t a rattlesnake, but a certain type of “poisonous snake.”

“I don’t care if you killed somebody – if you’re in a government facility, you should have air conditioning. That’s just, like, ridiculous,” he said.

His sister concurred, and added that the prisons allegedly contain “black mold, asbestos [and] lead-based paint.”

“It’s not ‘Fear Factor,’” shared Chase, who said it “pisses [him] off,” though he has “faith it’s all gonna come to light” at some point.

The sister expressed, “There are some things that are gonna come to light that are disgusting … It will leave people speechless about the things that go on in these facilities, and I’m ready for that day to come, but it’ll happen in its own timing. It’s just crazy to sit and watch mom and dad go through that, but luckily they have the fight in them.”

In spite of everything, the husband and wife are “doing fine” and are “as good as they can,” according to the kids. “Our parents, they’re very, very strong individuals, and they were not built to break, and this damn sure is not going to break them,” said Savannah.

The siblings also let fans know that Todd and Julie still “love each other” and have “remained loyal to each other” despite being placed 650 miles apart.

On Tuesday of this week, Chase also revealed that he and his fiancé Emmy Medders broke up.

“Everybody has been asking questions regarding Emmy and myself. We both agreed to part ways and move on with our lives separately. Thank you for respecting our privacy,” he said on Instagram, via Us Weekly.

Though Emmy has not yet addressed the split, she recently shared a bible verse on Instagram, seemingly revealing her current headspace: “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”
