Acclaimed filmmaker Ron Howard (A Stunning Thoughts, Apollo 13) has responded to fan requests for a follow-up to his Star Wars movie Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Launched in 2018, the movie advised the origin story of Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich) and was largely thought of a much less profitable entry within the sci-fi franchise. It grossed $393million from a price range of $275-300million and obtained combined critiques from critics. Nevertheless, the post-credits scene teased the return of a serious villain within the saga and appeared to arrange a sequel that has since stalled. Elsewhere within the interview, Howard mentioned his long-term collaboration with actor Tom Hanks. The pair have labored on 5 movies collectively, together with 1995’s Apollo 13 which received two Oscars.
