Richards “Richie” Wakile seemingly took aim at Joe Gorga and his wife, Melissa Gorga, on his Instagram Story over the weekend as he and wife Kathy Wakile enjoyed a vacation in Italy — just as the Gorgas did the same.
As Joe and Melissa shared a series of photos of themselves on the Amalfi Coast, the Real Housewives of New Jersey alum took to social media, where he appeared to shade his cousins as liars with a Pinocchio diss.
On Saturday, July 29, Joe posted a photo of himself and Melissa standing in their swimsuits on the coast, along with hashtags for “Italy” and “Positano.”
One day prior, Melissa shared a slideshow with her fans and followers.
“Magical is an understatement,” she wrote in the caption of the post.
Meanwhile, on Richie’s page, he shared a photo of his wife Kathy, confirming the two of them were enjoying time together in Rome.
Also on Richie’s Instagram Story, via a screenshot shared by Let’s Talk Reality TV on Instagram, he posted a shady message with a wooden Pinocchio sculpture.
“Pinocchio’s spotted in Italy this summer,” he wrote as Melissa said it was a “beautiful day” in Italy on her own page.
Following Victoria Wakile‘s wedding to husband Teddy Kosmidis in February 2021, which the Gorgas did not attend, Joseph Wakile made it clear that their ongoing family feud was very much on as he said Joe and Melissa were not present because he and his family “cut those farm animals out of [their lives] years ago.”
Months later, on an episode of Watch What Happens Live, Joe blamed Richie’s influence on Joseph’s harsh words.
“Richie Wakile… that is the reason why his children are talking the way they are. He’s just not a nice guy,” he noted.
More recently, after sharing a message on his Instagram Story, which read, “No family is perfect. We argue, we fight, we even stop talking to each other at times, but in the end, family is family. The love will always be there,” Richie slammed the Gorgas.
“Not for some farm animals,” he included in a caption.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 14 is expected to begin filming in mid-August.
