The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice opened up about blending her family with that of Luis Ruelas.

Months after tying the knot with now-husband Luis, Teresa spoke of the process, admitting that it has been “adjustment,” while also addressing her ongoing family feud with Joe and Melissa Gorga, insisting that she’s not holding a grudge against her brother and sister-in-law.

“It is an adjustment,” Teresa, 50, told Us Weekly. “Louie’s older son has autism, so that’s an adjustment for our family, and [we’re] doing a lot of charity work for the autism foundation. The girls are so amazing with him. … We love and adore him.”

“It’s been pretty amazing,” she continued. “It really has. Because listen, I’ve heard other stories with other families, but it’s been great.”

As RHONJ fans well know, Teresa shares daughters Gia Giudice, 22, Gabriella Giudice, 19, Milania Giudice, 17, and Audriana Giudice, 14, with ex-husband Joe Giudice, and Luis shares sons Nicholas and Louie Jr. with ex-wife Marisa Dimartino Ruelas.

According to Teresa, she’s found herself questioning her parenting decisions in the past. But after seeing how her kids have welcomed their new stepbrothers, specifically Nicholas, into their family, she’s gained clarity.

“As a mom, you never know if you’re doing a great job,” she explained. “But then looking at my girls to see how they interact with Nicholas, I’m like, ‘Oh, my God, thank you, God. I’m doing a great job.’”

Also during an interview with Us Weekly earlier this year, Teresa addressed her family drama with the Gorgas.

“I wish them well. I swear I wish them all the best,” she stated, denying she “holds a grudge” against them.

“No,” she said when asked about her potential grudge. “I need to heal myself. I’ve been through a lot the past 10 years with them. I’m happy for them. I wish them well and I wish they wished me the same back.”

“I’m focusing on my family, my daughters, on my stepsons, on my husband. So that’s what I’m working on. And putting myself first because for a long time I haven’t put myself first. So now this is my time,” she added.
