Melissa Gorga is reacting to rumors suggesting she’s hoping for her own spinoff amid her ongoing feud and estrangement from sister-in-law Teresa Giudice.
As the Real Housewives of New Jersey star commented on one of our Instagram posts in which it was alleged that both she and Teresa want their own shows, she reunited with season 13 newbie Rachel Fuda and her husband, John Fuda, for a triple date with husband Joe Gorga and a couple of their friends.
“Just a couple Italians eating Italian,” Melissa wrote in the caption of her June 21 post, which included Paolo and Michelle Colombo.
And after sharing the happy photo, Melissa received several comments, requesting she bring Michelle to the RHONJ cast.
“Sign that lady and her man up, Melissa [and] Joe, Rachel [and] John, [Margaret Josephs and Joe Benigno], [Jennifer Fessler and] her man, [Jackie Goldschneider and Evan Goldschneider] and [Frank Catania and Brittany Mattessic]. That’d be a good time in Jersey. Let Teresa and [Luis Ruelas] go live in [their] toxic bubble. Let [Jennifer Aydin] and [Bill Aydin] work on their marriage and Jen stay home with her kids a min and let [Dolores Catania] work on helping [Paul Connell] get that DIVORCE. He seems like he needs a little push,” one person declared.
“Drop Tre [and] bring on Michelle,” another added.
“Looks like good times! Bring it on the show,” said a third.
As for Melissa’s Instagram comment about her supposed desire for an RHONJ spinoff, that came after we shared the post below.
“Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga Reportedly Want Their Own Spin-Off Shows Amid Their RHONJ Feud, Plus the Season Might Be Over But the Drama is Still Brewing as Teresa Just Threw a New Dig at Melissa! See What She Said as Fans React (WHICH SPINOFF WOULD YOU WATCH – MELISSA OR TERESA?)” our post asked.
According to the attached article, a source told OK! Magazine that “Teresa wants to leave if Melissa stays” — and that Bravo had “halted production” on season 14 due to “cast conflicts, including [the one between] Teresa and Melissa.”
The source also claimed Teresa had always thought she should have her own spinoff, and an additional insider said Melissa was also hoping for her own series.
“She’s not having fun anymore [on RHONJ],” the second source stated. “She’s given it her all for years and feels she can do it by herself with her family and break out on her own.”
But as Melissa shared shortly after the article was published, there’s no truth to OK!’s report.
“I actually don’t want a spinoff- I like it where I am,” she confirmed in the comments section of Reality Blurb’s post.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 14 is expected to begin production sometime later this year.
