Luis Ruelas was reportedly not welcomed to Dolores Catania‘s charity softball game earlier this week.
As the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast united to support the event and film scenes for their upcoming 14th season, Luis was said to have been met with boos as his brother-in-law, Joe Gorga, was met with applause — much to the dismay of Teresa Giudice, 51, who was forced to intervene amid the backlash.
“Are you at Dolores’ charity softball game? I am. When they announced all the players in the lineup everyone cheered for everyone… until Louie!! Loads of people booed. Booed again when he was up at [bat]. He also had four errors in the first inning. He’s awful! Get him off third base!” an insider told Bravo and Cocktails in a DM sent to their Instagram page.
But that wasn’t the only first-hand account. In a series of screenshots shared by All About the Real Housewives on Instagram, more details were revealed as the mother of Melissa Gorga, 44, was accused of “liking” a post regarding the negative reaction Luis received.
“La La Louie being BOOOed at the Ball Game while Teresa had to control the crowd. Meanwhile Joe gets TONS of applause! The people have spoken,” someone declared on Twitter.
But, after Donna Marco allegedly “liked” the post, she took to her Facebook page to suggest that her account had shown unauthorized activity.
“My account was hacked disregard postings,” she told fans after seemingly being met with a backlash.
As RHONJ fans well know, this isn’t the first time Melissa’s family members have been accused of “liking” shady posts about Teresa and her husband. In fact, the topic was a major point of contention between Teresa and Melissa amid season 13, which saw the apparent end of their relationship after years of ups and downs.
Melissa’s family’s behavior against Teresa also resulted in Teresa not inviting them to her wedding, which Melissa and Joe ultimately decided not to attend.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 14 began filming in August and is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime early next year.
