Emily Simpson hosted an “Ask Me a Question” session on her Instagram Story, where she offered an update on her husband Shane Simpson‘s law career.
Over a year after confirming he passed the bar exam after several failed attempts, the Real Housewives of Orange County cast member revealed what her hubby has been up to in recent months while also teasing the upcoming, and highly-anticipated, 17th season of the Bravo reality series, addressing her frozen eggs, and more.
“Is Shane practicing law now? If so, how does he like it?” one person asked Emily.
“Yes he works for a law firm in Long Beach,” she replied, along with a photo of herself and Shane with their twin sons.
“Did you enjoy filming this season?” asked someone else.
“I think there were ‘enjoyable’ moments while filming this season, but overall this season was pretty physically and emotionally demanding,” Emily admitted.
Another person wanted to know, “What have you decided to do with your frozen eggs?”
And Emily explained, “I actually just received the storage fee bill in the mail a couple days ago. I’ll pay it again.”
According to Emily, who was asked by a fourth person if any of the dynamics of the cast’s relationships would come as a surprise, they “totally” will. In fact, as she also shared, she could hardly keep up with how certain dynamics changed amongst the group.
“Totally! So much switching dynamics I can’t even keep up,” she explained.
Emily was then asked about the time she spent on camera with Gina Kirschenheiter.
“Will we get to see more Emily [and] Gina bestie fun moments?” someone wondered.
“OH YES!!” Emily replied, along with two heart emojis and a photo of herself and Gina in jean dresses.
While Gina has faced rumors of a potential demotion in recent months, with one report suggesting former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Taylor Armstrong may have taken her full-time spot, she’s denied any such thing.
The Real Housewives of Orange County season 17 premieres tonight on Bravo at 8/7c.
