Erika Jayne appeared on Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday, where she opened up about her recent weight loss and commented on a number of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills hot topics.
While also reacting to Kyle Richards‘ ongoing marriage drama with Mauricio Umansky, shading Denise Richrds‘ return, and weighing in on Lisa Rinna‘s absence, Erika offered an update on her latest court win, answered a question about Oliver Saunders‘ drama on Vanderpump Rules, and teased her Vegas show.
On the August 1 episode of WWHL, after Andy Cohen, 55, noted that it was a big deal that she landed a residency in Sin City amid her legal drama, Erika, 52, said, “It was … You’re right.”
“It was [tough], which is why I was shocked when I got the offer, I was kinda like, ‘Are you kidding me?’” she admitted. “So it was great and I’m super excited and I think as time goes on, people will see things are as I said from the beginning. Just give me some time.”
Although Erika was thrilled with the offer, she confessed to being nervous about the residency, which begins later this month at the House of Blues in the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
“I am. And I should be. It’s a lot of work,” she noted. “It’s a great opportunity. Big show.”
In recent months, after being accused of aligning with estranged husband Thomas Girardi and his alleged crimes against former clients, Erika has scored a number of wins in court. But, that said, she didn’t feel the need to gloat.
“I knew this would happen. I knew it would take a long time. I’m glad that it’s working out the way it is and on to Bet It All on Blonde,” she said, giving a nod to her act in Vegas. “I have a lot of good things coming.”
Erika then said that while she got the ruling that required her to turn over her diamond earrings “reversed,” noting that she did so for “legal reasons,” she acknowledged she isn’t getting the bling, which was a gift from Thomas, back — at least not yet.
“I don’t [get them back] … It’s up to the bankruptcy judge what he does next,” she explained.
As for Oliver’s drama on Pump Rules, which saw him being accused of cheating on wife Samantha Saunders with Raquel Leviss (who was also having an affair with Tom Sandoval), Erika denied watching the series.
“I don’t watch Vanderpump Rules. I live my own nightmare, thank you,” she said.
Moving on to RHOBH, Erika admitted that while she missed Lisa amid production on season 13, the show must go on.
“I miss Lisa but we’re making a show. We’re doing it,” Erika stated, adding that she is still in touch with her longtime friend. “I just dropped her off at home a couple days ago.”
While Erika maintained a friendship with Lisa after her exit from the show, the same can’t be said for her and Denise. And when asked to rank her excitement for Denise’s return on a scale of one to 10, Erika didn’t mince words.
“Negative five,” she declared.
Erika also didn’t have much to say about Kyle and Mauricio.
“It’s none of my business,” she explained, before adding, “I spoke with Kyle and she’s going to explain herself and I’m going to leave it right there. Unless somebody files for divorce.”
Also on the show, Erika explained her weight loss.
“Let me just start off by saying I wanna make sure that I don’t trigger anybody because we have this conversation in Beverly Hills and we have a cast member with an eating disorder but yes I did come down in weight and I did it hormonally,” she revealed. “I was going through menopause so I took it all down. I went to the doctor. I said, ‘Get it off.’”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast is currently in production on additional episodes for season 13, which is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime later this year.
