RHOBH's Erika Jayne Describes Thomas as "Cheerful" But Not Always "With [It]," Calls Sutton a "Pot Stirrer," and Talks Meeting Tom's Victims, Plus Talks Dating

Erika Jayne offered an update on Thomas Girardi‘s mental health on Tuesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.

Before naming Sutton Stracke as the “pot-stirrer” of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and sharing who she expected to butt heads with the most amid season 13, Erika opened up about her recent meeting with the victims of Thomas’ alleged fraud and admitted that dating in the midst of their divorce has been “nice.”

On the August 1 episode of the WWHL: After Show, after Andy Cohen asked Erika if she was looking forward to making a potential love connection at BravoCon later this year, Erika denied any such thing, admitting she wasn’t even sure who would be there.

“No, not that. I will say this though: I do enjoy BravoCon because we don’t know each other, different cities and stuff,” Erika explained. “I enjoyed hanging out with Caroline Stanbury [of The Real Housewives of Dubai]. I’ve spoken with Heather Dubrow [of The Real Housewives of Orange County]. That is a nice thing to bring us all together. It’s kinda fun.”

For now, Erika is dating outside of the world of Bravo.

“No Bravolebs,” she confirmed. “I’m dating. I am. I’m not stuck at home, so it’s nice. It’s nice.”

On the live broadcast of WWHL, Andy questioned Erika about her meeting with Thomas’ reported victims, asking specifically if they viewed her as an “enemy.”

“I don’t know. That would be an answer that they would have to give. But I certainly didn’t feel that they were being unjustly harsh,” she replied. “I felt very comfortable. I went there with an open heart. They were very nice to me, and they didn’t have to be. I’m sure that they were very hurt, still.”

Although Erika has long been accused of lacking empathy for the victims of her estranged husband‘s alleged fraud, she told Andy that was never the case.

“I’ve always had empathy for them,” she explained, noting, “It’s just that timing is very important when you’re in litigation, and we met discussing corruption, judicial lending, and banking in the legal industry.”

And looking back, Erika said she has “no” regrets about how she handled herself amid the criticism.

During a game of cast superlatives, Erika was forced to answer questions about her RHOBH cast mates. And, after saying that Sutton was “probably” the “biggest pot-stirrer” and that Dorit Kemsley is the one who’s “always late,” Erika was asked about who shed the most tears.

“Not me for once. How about that?” she responded.

She then said she expected to butt heads with “the entire cast” and that the person who will have the most to answer to at the reunion is not her.

“And I don’t care about the rest. I’m off the hook,” she declared.

Also on the episode, Erika offered an update on Thomas.

“Tom… he calls me every now and then. I don’t really know [how he’s doing] because I don’t see him [but] he’s always cheerful on the phone. Sometimes with [it], sometimes without, it depends on the day,” she shared.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime this fall.
