Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky’s reported separation will be part of the storyline of the 13th season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

As the couple continues to face rumors suggesting Kyle may be involved in a romance with friend Morgan Wade, insiders confirm that while the upcoming season wrapped production in May, cameras are back up to capture the aftermath of their marriage drama.

On July 10, insiders confirmed the news to Page Six as the outlet insists the couple has split despite their denial. And hours prior, Andy Cohen addressed the potential addition of scenes on his SiriusXM radio show, Andy Cohen Live.

“Um, what am I gonna say to this?” he began after a listener asked about the topic. “What I will say is that I think that, what I think that that you will … Oh God, I’m trying to be so kind of, well no, I don’t wanna say…”

“I wanna say that this will be included next season of [RHOBH] in some way shape or form, that’s all I’ll say,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, insiders also shared the news of the extension of RHOBH season 13 with TMZ, which is also reporting the couple has split, noting that the production crew will begin filming the additional scenes with the cast sometime later this week.

Although the sources said it was unclear how long the ladies would remain in production on the new scenes, the outlet noted that it “won’t be a terribly long shoot schedule.” Instead, they’ll proceed with the goal of talking about the fallout from Kyle and Mauricio’s marriage drama and other issues surrounding it.

Last week, after an insider told PEOPLE that they had been separated for a while but continued to live together at their $8.25 million mansion in Encino, Kyle and Mauricio confirmed their marital strife with a joint statement.

“In regards to the news that came out about us today… Any claims regarding us divorcing are untrue. However, yes, we have had a rough year,” they wrote. “The most challenging one of our marriage. But we both love and respect each other tremendously. There has been no wrongdoing on anyone’s part. Although we are in the public eye, we ask to be able to work through our issues privately. While it may be entertaining to speculate, please do not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime this fall.
