Lisa Rinna shared a post calling out fans who defended her former co-star Garcelle Beauvais. On the latest season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa’s on and off-screen battles with Garcelle led certain viewers to accuse her of racism.
After the season ended, Lisa announced her departure from the show. Recently, she joined Bethenny Frankel’s cause to start a reality star union, and she asked stars to boycott the popular BravoCon event, which is scheduled for November.
In an Instagram post shared by @bravosnarkside, Lisa spotlighted a fan calling out viewers who defended Garcelle.
The post began as a call for the boycott. “I mean if we’re being real here, shouldn’t all the woke Bravo Stans boycott Bravocon? They love flexing how progressive they are by calling everybody racist and campaigning for reality stars to be fired. Well, there’s nothing more left wing than workers rights and unions!” exclaimed the fan.
The user went on, “I hope all the passionate left leaning Bravo fans can sit Bravocon out this year to flex their progressive credentials 😍 we need real action not just tweeting that everybody is a racist for not liking Garcelle’s outfit.”
Last year, Lisa made a similar declaration in an Instagram Story amid her drama with Garcelle.
“We fight on our show if we fight with Garcelle we are all of a sudden called a racist,” she wrote, via Today. “That’s bulls—. I will not accept that. I will express myself when and how I want.”
Lisa recently wrote a post letting everyone know exactly how she feels about the BravoCon boycott and reality star union.
“Everyone who is @Sag/aftra memember [sic] who is on a Bravo show should boycott BravoCon,” she expressed on Instagram. “You want them to start to take you seriously and pay you the money you deserve? Then start a reality show union per Bethenny. Time is now.”
