Marlo Hampton took to her Instagram page on Thursday night, where she announced to her fans and followers that a couple of online retailers were seemingly selling several items that were stolen from her Georgia home last summer.
Just under a year after the Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member confirmed armed robbers hit her home, Marlo said she’s located some of her belongings on the websites of 1stDibs and Grailed as she demanded answers.
“I’ve personally located some of the items stolen from my storage last year being sold on your platforms. I am asking that [1stDibs and Grailed] have a representative contact me, my team, and the Sandy Springs Police asap to get to the bottom of this,” Marlo began in her July 6 post.
According to Marlo, 1stDibs listed one of her rare Valentino gowns, and Grailed had an ad for her Roberto Cavalli dress.
“The robbers even went as far as to actually use photos of me in the Roberto Cavalli dress for their advertisement. I need answers asap,” she wrote, including a screenshot of the $5,000 item.
“The majority of the items stolen from me are irreplaceable. It hurts as I’ve collected these items for over 20 years in my world travels … I want my things back,” she added.
In 1stDibs’ ad, an image of the Valentino dress that Marlo claims is hers is seen for sale for nearly $10,000.
And in another ad shared by Grailed, a reportedly stolen skirt of Marlo’s was seen listed for $500, alongside a photo of the RHOA cast member wearing the item with a matching shirt.
Speaking of the armed robbery, which took place when she and her nephews were home, Marlo said she was alerted to the break-in by one of her nephews.
“I heard the boom, when I heard my nephew scream, and I knew that scream was a scream of fear,” Marlo recalled to Atlanta’s Channel 2 WSBTV shortly after the scary incident. “My heart dropped.”
