Razer has launched a new gaming mouse called the Cobra Pro and it’s basically dripping with customization options. Although many of Razer’s gaming mice are highly customizable, the Cobra Pro appears to elevate the standard that you see on many of the brand’s products.

At first glance it might not look like anything special in the customization department. But there’s definitely more than meets the eye. There’s 10 customizable buttons that you can remap and adjust to your liking using the Synapse 3 software. On top of that though, the Razer Cobra Pro is also Razer’s latest mouse that features Hypershift compatibility. With Hypershift, each of the 10 buttons can be assigned an entirely different action. Basically giving the mouse 20 programmable buttons.

You can customize the controls even further using the swappable profiles. There are 5 onboard memory profiles that you can effortlessly swap between to suit the games you’re playing. So between those and the 10 Hypershift compatible buttons, there’s a lot of ways to set up your game control.

If that wasn’t enough, there’s 11 addressable Chroma RGB lighting zones. Because a), it’s a Razer product and b) it’s a gaming mouse. Chroma RGB is in its DNA.

The Razer Cobra Pro weighs just 77g

It’s certainly not the lightest gaming mouse Razer makes. But for being a wireless mouse with all this tech in it, it’s lighter than you would expect. And that benefits anyone who likes to play games where they zip the mouse around the mat a lot.

HyperSpeed Wireless is also present for low-latency connectivity, and the mouse can charge wirelessly too. Although you’ll need the Mouse Dock Pro and the wireless charging puck for that. Razer also claims you’ll get about 100 hours of battery life when using HyperSpeed Wireless. Which is pretty good, but it bumps up to 170 hours when connected through Bluetooth. So if you don’t need the low-latency, you can make the mouse last longer between charges.
