Razer today is announcing Razer Skins to help give your gaming tech a fresh new look, and you can find them for the PS5, Steam Deck, and quite a few other devices.

Skins for consoles and other hardware are of course, nothing new. You’ve seen them from companies like dbrand and Skinit for years. But now Razer makes some and they cover (literally) a wide range of products. Naturally Razer also makes some for its own products. So if you own a Razer Blade laptop there’s a decent selection of skins you can apply to it.

Razer’s new skins are made from grippy 3M vinyl materials and are designed to help protect your gear from scuffs while also giving it a fancier style. While you’re not going to banging your hardware up against things, it’s still easy to get a scratch or two. Whether you’re placing your laptop in a backpack or accidentally catch your equipment with a zipper. Honestly there’s a thousand different ways you could accidentally scuff up your stuff. But these skins are meant to prevent that so they stay looking nice and new.

Razer says these are also “easy to apply and safe to remove.”

Razer makes skins for more than just PS5

Not everyone owns a PS5 so Razer is covering its bases and offering skins for more than a few different devices. In addition to the PS5 (disc and digital) you can get skins for the Xbox Series X|S, multiple Razer Blade laptops, the Steam Deck, the Razer Kishi V2 controller and the Razer Edge, and MacBook laptops.

There’s more than a few designs available but not every design is available for every device. For example, you can get the Geometric in Mercury and Quartz for just about everything. But designs like the Pearlescent Steel and Black Metal are only available on the Steam Deck. In the same fashion, the Green Pantera design is only available on the Razer Blade and MacBook Pro.

All skins are a Razer.com exclusive so you won’t find these at Best Buy or other retailers. Also worth noting is that right now these are only available in the US and Canada. But they will be expanding to Europe and parts of Asia-Pacific later this year Razer says.
