Raquel Leviss may be preparing to tell all about her controversial affair with Tom Sandoval at Thursday’s taping of the Vanderpump Rules reunion. But, after landing in Los Angeles on Wednesday after spending time in Arizona, she offered an unofficial sneak peek.
After being spotted sitting outside of Blush Nail Bar in Valley Village, where Sandoval and his now-ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix share a home, Raquel opened up about where she and Sandoval stand, Scheana Shay‘s alleged assault, Lala Kent‘s aggressive behavior, and more.
“[I’m] good … I’m holding up okay. It’s been a little rough but I’m hanging in there,” Raquel confirmed while speaking to TMZ on March 22. “I’ve been kinda off social media all together. I’ve been advised to do that. But it has been a lot but I guess there’s consequences to my actions. I wasn’t really thinking things through too much. So here we are.”
According to Raquel, her romance with Sandoval “started off as a friendship” and “turned into something more,” which they’ll go into detail about during the reunion taping. But, when it comes to their current status, the two of them are “taking a break” as they look to the future.
“I don’t know where our relationship is gonna be,” Raquel admitted. “We’re just trying to get through these next few steps and try to make amends, hear everybody out. I know a lot of people are angry so I think just getting through these next few steps and seeing where it goes. We’re not putting a label on anything. We’re just kinda taking a break for now.”
Following the shocking reveal of her affair with Sandoval earlier this month, Raquel spoke to Ariana on the phone and offered an apology to her, via text.
“She didn’t receive it very well,” Raquel noted, laughing as she told the photographer she preferred “not to say” what Ariana wrote back.
As for Scheana denying her claims of an assault, Raquel, who filed a restraining order against her, said, “Scheana knows what happened that night. I’m not gonna go into it much but I do have a permanent scar on my eyebrow.”
As Pump Rules fans well know, Tom Schwartz has been accused of being a decoy for Sandoval and Raquel — and of knowing about their romance before the rest of the word. But, according to Raquel, Schwartz didn’t know what was going on between her and Sandoval, nor did she use him as a distraction.
“I genuinely had an interest in Tom Schwartz and there was a genuine curiosity there so it wasn’t a coverup,” she insisted.
Then, after agreeing with the reporter that people “definitely” shouldn’t attack her so much, Raquel said that when it comes to Lala, “She always has been aggressive towards me.”
“I think I’ve always kinda rubbed her the wrong way,” she continued.
Also during the interview, after saying rumors of a threesome with Sandoval and Ariana were “not true,” Raquel said she knows she “has to take accountability for [her] actions” at the reunion.
“I’m completely prepared to do that,” she added.
