Amid the fallout and backlash from her months-long affair with costar and best friend, Ariana Madix‘s partner of nine years, Tom Sandoval, Raquel Leviss as well as her family members are reporting that the vitriol for the Vanderpump Rules star has escalated to the point of receiving death threats and have asked the FBI to intervene.
Raquel’s rep recently revealed that the family has been subjected to “violent and graphic death threats” both online and over the phone.
According to TMZ, some of the nastier threats and messages that have been sent to Raquel over social media have included wanting to “tear [Raquel] from limb to limb” and threats of murder and “[dumping] the body.”
A source close to Raquel told the outlet that while it’s understandable that some people may have strong opinions on her questionable decisions and actions, the level of visceral violence being sparked is in no way warranted or acceptable calling it “disturbing.”
A spokesperson for the FBI released the following statement—” FBI neither confirms nor denies investigations. Obviously, we review all allegations reported to us and encourage anyone who believes their life is in imminent danger to call 911.”
As previously reported, Raquel checked herself into a mental health facility to work on her emotional well-being after the explosive Vanderpump Rules season 10 reunion and hasn’t been seen for weeks.
The intense outrage that Raquel and Sandoval have been at the center of since news of their affair broke proved to be too much for the pair as they have reportedly split up and are no longer in any kind of relationship—though Sandoval denies ever putting a label on anything.
Raquel and Sandoval are currently feeling the wrath of Ariana, as well as the rest of the cast, as they confront their illicit affair on the Vanderpump Rules Season 10 three-part reunion currently airing on Bravo.
Part two airs Wednesday, May 30 at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.
