Ramona Singer is already fighting with her daughter Avery on their Turtle Time podcast after the Real Housewives of New York alum challenged Avery’s claim that she was “laid off” and not “fired.”

In a tense exchange reminiscent of Ramona’s RHONY brawls, the 27-year-old went back and forth with her mom and eventually forced her to apologize.

On the first episode of Turtle Time, shared by @queensofbravo on Twitter, Ramona called out her daughter after a whopping three minutes.

“Can someone teach you how to fold the laundry? You never fold the laundry. Who folds the laundry? You don’t,” said Ramona.

Avery clapped back, saying she knows how to do it: “And I’m in college, so I don’t know what you’re talking about. Please don’t say I don’t know how to fold laundry.”

“No! No,” Ramona interjected. “Cause when you stay with me, you never fold the laundry. You make me fold it. Just so you know.”

Avery responded that she “always” does the “dishes.”

Just a few minutes later, the mother and daughter got into it as Ramona challenged Avery’s claim that she was “laid off” and not “fired” from her former job.

“Basically you got fired,” said Ramona. “Laid off, fired is the same thing. When you don’t have a job, you don’t have a job. It’s the same thing. Don’t sugarcoat it.”

The daughter warned her mom to be “careful” with her “wording,” and she explained the difference between ‘laid off’ and ‘fired.’

“My whole team got dissolved. I didn’t do anything wrong. Does that make sense?” asked Avery. “Therefore being fired and being laid off are extremely different things. And please do not ever say they are the same thing, because you will be offending many people including myself.”

She then asked Ramona to “apologize” for her behavior.

“I apologize on that, but may I add that they’re both similar because you don’t have a job,” Ramona added. “To me, if you don’t have a job, you don’t have a job.”
