“Anitta reggaetonera is very much alive,” the Brazilian star said of her return to reggaeton

For Anitta and Peso Pluma, it’s all about pleasure and satisfaction. On Thursday night, the corridos star and Brazilian artist joined forces for their long-anticipated collaboration, “Bellakeo.”

The video sees the two stars at a clandestine perreo party inside a dark building in Madrid. In some scenes, Peso sings his verses about a sexy night of pleasure as Anitta twerks while standing in water.

“BELLAKEO IS COMING,” Peso tweeted earlier this week.

“I just stopped by to tell you something,” Anitta wrote on social media. “Anitta reggaetonera is very much alive 🥷🏽.”

Pluma has jumped between genres over the last several months, focusing mostly on corridos. In late October, he joined Arcángel on the trappy “La Chamba,” Jhayco on “Ex-Special” in September, and Blessd on “Ojos Azules” in August, following the massive success of his reggaeton collab with Yng Lvcas, “La Bebé.”

Globally, Peso’s collaboration with Yng Lvcas landed as the No. 4 most-streamed Latin song on Spotify, globally. It was the second-most streamed in the U.S.

As for Anitta, she collaborated with DJ Dennis on “Monstrão” and dropped solo single “Mil Veces” in October. The singer also released a three-song bundle, Funk Generation: a Favela Love Story, in August.

Peso spoke to Rolling Stone earlier this year about stepping out of his typical music for upcoming collaborations, and a collaboration he has in the works with A$AP Rocky. “You’ll be so surprised. To start, if you see A$AP Rocky and Peso on a song, you’ll ask ‘What the fuck did they make?’” Peso said. “But that’s the best ingredient of this [collab]: the intrigue.”
