Nintendo of America has officially announced a launch date for the Batman Arkham games coming to the Nintendo Switch. While the games have been out for a while, this will be their first time on the Nintendo Switch platform.

The release according to Nintendo will include the entire trilogy, which means Nintendo Switch owners can experience all three Batman Arkham games from start to finish. What’s more, is the bundle will include all the DLC from each game. The complete Batman: Arkham Trilogy in one single game bundle. That’s a lot of content. Though it is worth noting that the games can be picked up individually on Steam. Should you want to grab any of them outside of the bundle.

Batman: Arkham Trilogy launches on Nintendo Switch in October

There’s a still a couple more months to wait before the games are available. But Nintendo has now given a firm release date. So at least players know how long the wait will be exactly. Having announced the trilogy earlier this year, the official launch date will be October 13.

Switch owners will be able to download the trilogy bundle from the eShop directly on their console. A physical cartridge version will also be available to pickup for those who prefer their games as physical media. Nintendo hasn’t announced a price for the game, but you can currently pre-order the physical edition at Best Buy, which does list the price.

And big surprise, it’ll be $59.99. If you’ve never played the Arkham games before, they’re well-known and well-loved for their stealth, combat, and original stories. You’ll get to play as Batman facing off against some of his most notorious foes, with villains like the Joker, Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Bane, Killer Croc and more making appearances across the trilogy.

These games are definitely worth playing for fans that haven’t experienced them yet. And as of right now the collection on Steam, which also includes all three games, is the same price. So there’s no reason not to get them on Switch if you don’t care about the better graphics of the PC versions.
