Assassin’s Creed Mirage is out on October 5 and if you haven’t already picked up the pre-order, you can snag a copy for free from MSI. You just have to buy some of MSI’s hardware products to get it. There is one large caveat though. It doesn’t seem to be available for US consumers. If you’re in a participating region however, it’s not a bad deal if you’re already considering an upgrade on some of your PC hardware.
The promotional offer isn’t compatible with all MSI gaming products but there’s a fair amount of them that appear to count. This includes MSI gaming laptops, monitors, and routers. Interestingly, no desktops are included. As for the compatible models though there’s quite a selection. MSI’s promo page for example shows that any MSI laptop with an NVIDIA RTX 4070, 4080, or 4090 GPU is eligible for the free game. For the monitors, MSI says select 27-inch QHD or above monitors.
Or if you just need a new router upgrade there’s two models that count. This includes the RadiX AXE6600 and the RadiX AX6600.

You have some time to buy an eligible product and register it for the free game code. As MSI states the promotion is running from September 27 all the way till November 10. So you have more than a month left to get a free copy of the game. However, MSI’s code supply is not limitless.
There’s a finite amount of free copies of the game it has to give out. So you will probably want to act as fast as you can to have better chances at getting a copy free of charge. The nice thing is that on MSI’s promotion page it tells you how many codes are left for each product category. At the time of writing, there are 875 codes left for gaming laptops. As well as 557 codes left for monitors, and 550 codes left for routers. Also worth noting is that the purchase has to be from a participating MSI partner.
