Moby launched a new album, Ambient 23, on Sunday. Earlier within the month, the musician introduced the LP, explaining that the 16-track set is impressed by his early ambient heroes, together with Martyn Ware, Brian Eno, Jean-Michel Jarre, and Will Sergeant.

“It’s a bit completely different than a few of my newer Ambient data as a result of it’s nearly completely made with bizarre outdated drum machines and outdated synths,” he added.

On its launch day marking a brand new 12 months, Moby supplied a bit extra background on the two-and-a-half-hour-long album.
