Or, you can be a normie and go hiking through the woods, which is one of the most popular outdoor activities in such a mild winter climate surrounded by serene landscapes.
Pack your walking shoes, a light jacket, and enjoy all of Rockaway’s greenery and ocean views. According to the town’s Chamber of Commerce, one of the most rewarding (and easy) hikes is Munson Creek Falls, soaring nearly 300 feet!
But if you ask me, I’d say Old Growth Cedar Trail is the most tranquil.
